Our client organisation is a MNC engaged in to manufacturing. Their Indian HO & plant is located in PCMC area in Pune |
|
Qualification : |
BE / B Tech Mech - 5+ yrs expereince
or
Diploma in Mech Engg - 8+ yrs experience |
|
Experience : |
- 5 to 6 years out of which minimum 4 years should be in Design & Development of reciprocating compressors/ IC engines of reputed manufacturing company.
- Exposure to CREO (3D) modelling. Candidate should be familiar with 3D working environment.
- Exposure to FEA software usage is added advantage. MS office essential.
- Experience in manufacturing industry prototyping and fabrication process knowledge.
- Knowledge of casting / forging / machining process, material grades (MoC), etc.

Knowledge & Skills: |
- Should have detailed knowledge of material (for e.g. material grades, MTC review) dealing with
- Good knowledge of chemical & mechanical composition
- Thorough understanding of engg drawing reading, GD&T, various process symbols, etc.
- Exposure to casting, forging, fabrication, related process activities will be an added advantage
- Practical knowledge of using various measuring instruments for inspection purpose
- Good communication skills

Roles and Responsibilities |
Design & Detail Engineering of Reciprocating compressor assemblies / components as per specifications requirements
- Development of Reciprocating Compressor components and assemblies, its written specifications and technical drawings for equipment / product design.
-Review of 3D models/ assemblies in CREO and components drawings along with Bill of material in 2D. Preparation of manufacturing drawings of components / parts inclusive of machined, fabricated & castings.
-Performing reciprocating HP components & Vessel's design calculations according to international norms is preferred.
-Responsible for Engineering Bills of material, Spare part lists and Maintenance kits in PLM system (Agile). Engineering design data management exposure is preferred.
-Responsible for Variant Bills of material in CPQ/ERP (Dynamics AX, Dynamics D365)
-Design & Drawing checking finalized by Designer & Modeller.
-ISO Documentation for engineering department.
