Experience : |
With 5 to 10+ yr experience relevant experience from compressor / engine / pump / rotating equipment industry
- Design & Development of compressor new parts & sub-assemblies, new part development, manufacturing process study and develop new parts/ components/ accessories etc. in compliance with API 618 & related standards.
- New part development (NPD) activities, planning & coordination with internal team and external suppliers/agencies to complete the job as per project schedule.
- Hands on calculations of reciprocating compressor parts and assemblies
- In identifying, Design and develop, composite moulds and assembly fixtures to support prototyping activities within the design engineering department and suppliers as per requirements/scope defined.
- Maintaining QMS, SAP, ERP database as per system
- 3D modelling, 2D drawings preparation in CREO, checking, Reviewing & approving manufacturing drawings/process sheet as per project requirements
- Article numbering and BOM preparation in SAP.
- Preparation of Engineering drawings, model in AutoCAD/CREO 6.0

Knowledge & Skills: |
- Application Knowledge of compressor related international/ ASME/API codes & standards, familiar with EU standards for respective machinery and familiar with EU material standards
- Industry experience in the mechanical design of reciprocating compressors/rotating equipment/machinery & its parts/assemblies will be preferred.
- Knowledge & experience in New product development process for compressor and other rotating machinery will be preferred.
- Experience of 3D modelling, 2D drawings in CREO will be added advantage.
- Self-driven in NPD, part development by interactions with various internal/external stake holders for technical support of various drawings/tooling / manufacturing processes requirements.
- Experience in casting/forging parts development, high precision machining parts will be added advantage.
- Application Knowledge of compressor related international/ ASME/API codes & standards, familiar with EU standards for respective machinery and familiar with EU material standards
- Fluency in English & knowledge of German language will be added advantage

Roles and Responsibilities |
- Design and development of compressor [BOP (Horizontal Balanced-Opposed compressors)] new parts & sub-assemblies development, manufacturing process study, develop components / accessories etc, in compliance with API 618 and related standards.
- New part development, review and set up processes, procedures, systems for Proto type development internally and at suppliers end to achieve company goal/targets.
- Develop/approve manufacturing processes, material selection by studying Compressor requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with principle/suppliers.
- Timely submission of engineering drawings to suppliers, provide technical details & JC/RC/Process sheet etc. for seamless manufacturing activities
-Development of Compressor parts/systems & its related accessories for in-house / site testing and validation as per standards/requirements.
